Join VCARD, and The Daytona Beach Board of Realtors and Daytona Regional Chamber for the Annual Real Estate Values Forum featuring our Volusia County Property Appraiser Larry Bartlett. Larry will share about latest property values. Then, special presenter Lawrence Yun will share insights on economic trends and the real estate market. 8:30 a.m. Registration / Buffet Breakfast 9:00 a.m. Program Begins 10:30 a.m. Program Ends Forum Presenters: Volusia County’s Property Appraiser Larry Bartlett will discuss his department’s determination of current real estate values across all market segments, both commercial and residential, and geographical areas – the year-over-year changes and trends, and their implications for property owners, government officials, real estate professionals, developers and the business community. Larry has lived in the Ormond Beach area since 1970 and obtained his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Florida. He has practiced real estate law in Volusia County for 35 years, and for eight years prior to his election, Larry served as the attorney for Volusia County’s Value Adjustment Board. He was elected Property Appraiser in 2016. Lawrence Yun is Chief Economist and oversees the Research group at the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. He supervises and is responsible for a wide range of research activity for the association including NAR's Existing Home Sales statistics, Affordability Index, and Home Buyers and Sellers Profile Report. He regularly provides commentary on real estate market trends. Dr. Yun creates NAR's forecasts and participates in many economic forecasting panels, among them the Blue Chip Council and the Wall Street Journal Forecasting Survey. He also participates in the Industrial Economists Discussion Group at the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University. He appears regularly on financial news outlets, is a frequent speaker at real estate conferences throughout the United States, and has testified before Congress. Dr. Yun has also appeared as a guest on CSPAN's Washington Journal. Dr. Yun received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland at College Park.

The Volusia County Association for Responsible Development and its Flagler County chapter (VCARD) is a unique not-for-profit comprised of land development professionals. VCARD's mission is to be a forum for collaboration in all aspects of land development, and to provide programs that further the idea of responsible development in Volusia and Flagler Counties.
