CHAIR 2024-2025


Jessica Gow is an associate attorney at Cobb Cole law firm where she focuses on land use law. She received her degree in political science and pre-law from the University of West Florida where she graduated Magna Cum Laude; was the Vice-president of the University Honors Program; and, implemented Green Fee projects across campus such as solar paneled trolley stops to reduce fuel emissions. Jessica then went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from Florida State University where she was part of the Woman’s Law Symposium; was Associate Editor of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law; and the Notes & Comments Editor of the Florida State Law Review. She also received the Coastal and Ocean Law Book Award; Environmental Law Book Award; and Torts Book Award given to those who receive the highest grade in these respective courses. In the past she has been a meal provider for Interfaith for over four years as well as a community garden volunteer for the Manna Food Pantry.

Along with serving as an Officer of VCARD, Jessica is very active with VCARD’s Next Generation of Responsible Development (NX|RD) committee. She is also a past recipient of VCARD Member of the Year award.
