FPZA Event: Beach Lighting & Sea Turtles
Lighting along the coast must be in compliance with county codes pertaining to the sea turtle nesting season. Volusia County has an active enforcement program and very specific codes that apply. Speakers featured in the program will speak from experience on both sides of the spectrum, from installation of the newest technology to enforcement of existing and pro-posed lighting along the beach. This program is a must for any resident, developer or even tourist that does business with or visits our beach-side communities. AICP Credits Pending
